We all enjoy a friendly debate on who the GOAT is (Greatest Of All Time) between our favorite sports icons. Are you all in on LeBron James or Michael Jordan? How about Alex Morgan or Mia Hamm? Your thoughts on Tiger Woods or Jack Nicklaus? What about Serena Williams or Margaret Court? And then there’s Tom Brady! Alright, alright! We all agree on TB12! We will leave the other great debates open for another time.
Hadobody is a lifestyle and wellness clothing brand that harnesses the power of intention to infuse the mind, body and spirit with wellness through positive affirmations. That being said, we at Hadobody like to change up the GOAT acronym to something that better fits our mantra. GOAT to the good vibe tribe means Go Out And Thrive! Meaning, what we all need more than ever in our lives is health, hope and positivity so we can be the best possible version of ourselves. Let's look at some actions we can take to care for our bodies, increase mindfulness, set priorities, connect with others and thrive.
We define thrive as passionate, wholehearted self-growth that leads one and others around us to flourish. Accepting and loving yourself as you are. Knowing that your are enough. It is also about taking responsibility for your successes and failures, being positive and proactive. Simply stated, it’s you being your best self.
*Understand that some side effects of thriving include increased awareness, energy, positivity and well-being!
Did you know that verbalizing positive affirmations can help you combat stress and increase the neural pathways in your brain? Working with your affirmations daily will help program your subconscious mind and help guide you in achieving your goals. There’s no place like mindfulness, so lets give it a try!
Start each day and end each night by taking a couple deep breathes and saying 11 positive affirmations to yourself. Below are two sets of 11 I Am Affirmations you can begin with. Say out loud to yourself the first set twice-daily for a week then the second set twice-daily for the following week. There is magic in the number 11 and we will touch upon it shortly!
I Am In Enough. I Am Love. I Am Confident. I Am Lucky. I Am Grateful. I Am Proud Of Myself. I Am Unique. I Am Strong. I Am Blessed. I Am Worthy.
I Am Brave. I Am Smart. I Am Full of Life. I Am Kind. I Am Resilient. I Am Important. I Am Constantly Improving. I Am Beautiful. I Am Loved. I Am Grounded.
You are a unique individual and you may have your own individual powerful affirmations that are relevant and specific to you. For the third and fourth week, create a list of affirmations that best suits your purpose or goal and repeat them to start and end each day. We chose 11 affirmations because the number 11 is associated with spiritual awakening. Eleven is also a mystical number that offers creativity, higher energy, insight and inspiration.
Utilizing powerful I Am statements on a daily basis is a powerful first step for you to take the actions to support the changes and outcomes that you desire.
Gregg Braden, a five-time New York Times best-selling author, said it best about affirmations or as he calls them wisdom codes in his book The Wisdom Codes, “The power of wisdom codes comes from their repetition and doing so in the affirmative. This imprints a code on the subconscious mind. When we create heart/brain harmony, we open a “hotline” to communicate directly with the subconscious mind. From a place of heart/brain harmony, recite the version that you are most drawn to, silently or out loud - line by line - until you feel an increased sense of trust and certainty that you are not alone. The key is to embrace this code with a focus of awareness, breath, and feeling in the heart rather than the mind.”
Be an Energy Force Multiplier by celebrating the good in others. Be a positive influence on the people around you. Be compassionate with others and yourself. Be such a beautiful soul that people crave your good vibes. #EnergyForceMultiplier
One of our favorite internationally bestselling and award-winning authors, Lynne McTaggart states in her book The Power Of Eight, “Intending as a group creates an ecstasy of unity - a palpable sense of oneness.” She goes on to unveil the extraordinary findings about the miraculous power of group intention and its boomerang effect in the book.
We will accomplish the greatest feats when we are all working towards common goals such as peace, love and prosperity.
Law Of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is the most powerful law in the universe. What we attract in life is always a reflection in what we think and feel and directly correlates to whether we are thriving or not.
“The Law of Attraction ensures that you start attracting more of what you want into your life instead of what you don't want or instead of what always has been. The highest functioning people never even put their energy on what is if they don't like what is. That's an important difference, because most people who have a lot of "problems" in their life are constantly talking about them and focusing on them, so they just keep attracting more of those circumstances into their lives because that's where their thoughts are,” profoundly stated the
“Father of Motivation” Dr. Wayne Dyer.
Make it your intention to love yourself unconditionally and more fully each day. Having faith in oneself will guide you to follow your intuition that will lead you to the ultimate manifestation of your desires.
Live A Fulfilling Life
During your fervent pursuits, give yourself some time alone or as we call it “you time.” Enjoying peaceful solitude in nature can help you focus your priorities, gain a greater appreciation for relationships and empower you to be the highest version of yourself.
We love this quote by Tim Duncan, a 2020 first ballot selection into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better is best.”
The sensational Michael “Air” Jordan famously quoted, “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.
Challenges are opportunities to grow and improve. Humans don’t develop and progress when things are easy. Make those almost maybes and oh so closes into learning moments that will fuel your drive to be your best self. Transform for the better and become more resilient and purposeful while challenging yourself to be your best. Most importantly, know that you are awesome, smile to yourself and Go Out And Thrive!
With Love and Light!
